How you can help Wimberley.

As many of you know, the Austin metro area has been hit with tremendous amounts of rain. While we welcome the much needed relief from the crippling drought, the effects of all this rainfall have been disastrous. Wimberley sits amongst both the Blanco River and Cypress Creek, and the idyllic qualities of the location have drawn people to this tight-knit community for years. We are blessed with generous support system and a strong sense of community here in Hays County.

Nonetheless, over Memorial Day weekend, the area received several inches of rain. The totals vary according to sources, but the consensus is that the Blanco River crested at 43 feet. This has lead to dozens of homes and businesses being destroyed, and at present at least a dozen residents of our small community unaccounted for. While we continue to be optimistic, the area needs assistance. Please consult the following links to make sure our resources are used to the best of our abilities.

Please don't worry about us! The Ranch itself is fine. There are people out in our immediate reach that need real help from real people.
